As the saying goes, home is where the heart is, which is the sensibility behind esteemed jazz vocalist and multi-Grammy® nominee Nnenna Freelon’s latest recording for Concord, Homefree.

Nnenna and Phil Freelon were tapped as featured speakers for the 25th annual Emerging Issues Forum. Celebrated journalist Charlie Rose interviewed the pair before a capacity audience of educators, political and business leaders. "Our children will not inherit a multiple choice world... We must encourage and reward the creative thinker as they are the problem solvers of tomorrow" noted Nnenna.
Nnenna sings the Duke Ellington penned "Prelude to a Kiss" on the Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning AMC show Mad Men.
